LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A big Christmas delivery - straight from the man in red himself - came into Bowman Field on Saturday afternoon.
Santa Claus flew in on a bi-plane, bringing presents for children with Down syndrome, and their siblings. The special deliveries were part of Down Syndrome of Louisville's annual Christmas party.
Families also enjoyed antics with the Kosair Shrine Circus clowns, crafts and refreshments at the event.
"It's just about that pure joy, of appreciation and knowing that we have such good partners in the community. And they really value our kids," said Diana Merzweiler of DSL.
