Two women arrested in robbery of Old Louisville restaurant

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Two women are charged with robbing a restaurant in Old Louisville.

According to the arrest citation, Celia Kacmerick called Burger Boy Diner on South Brook Street on Nov. 30 and told a worker the place was being robbed. At the same time, Linda Deason, 27, came in with a gun and took money before fleeing the scene in a getaway car driven by Kacmerick.

Deason and Kacmerick admitted to the robbery in a taped statement, police said.

Both women are charged with first-degree robbery.
