UPDATE: IUPUI issues 'all clear' after search for armed robbery suspect

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (WAVE) - No gunman has been found after police searched areas of Indiana University - Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) near the location of an off-campus armed robbery, according to the school's website.

The robbery was reported in the 700 block of Blake Street in Indianapolis. The suspect was described as a black man between 6'3" and 6'4" tall, wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and a hat with yellow writing on it. Individuals with information about the robbery or who observe any suspicious activity on campus are being urged to call 911.

People on campus have been told they can leave their shelter area and return to normal activities. Initially, after reports of the gunman possibly being on campus, the university community was told to remain in place and lock all doors if possible.

IUPUI's website said no one was injured in the robbery.
