Shorter is accused of taking part in the November 27 armed robbery of a tattoo shop in the 4300 of Fegenbush Lane. His arrest report says Shorter did not have a gun, but his accomplice, Fabian D. Ralston, did.
Metro police say Shorter acted as the lookout during the robbery in which a cell phone and $250 in cash was taken. After being given his rights, Shorter gave police a statement admitting to being with Ralston at the business.
During his arrest police found Shorter with a concealed .45 caliber Ruger handgun. He told officers it was given to him by a friend on the streets.
Bond for Shorter was set at $50,000 cash during his arraignment on December 17. He will be back in court December 28.
Ralston, 23, was arrested on December 4 and remains at Louisville Metro Corrections on a $15,000 bond.
