HARDIN COUNTY, KY (WAVE) - After almost six months of separation, the parents of a missing Nelson County woman got to see their grandson.

Crystal Rogers father, Tommy Ballard, told WAVE 3 News a judge ordered Brooks Houck to allow him and his wife to see their 3-year-old grandson on Dec. 26. The grandparents had not seen the child since the week before Rogers disappeared on July, 3.

Ballard said they went to the Sheriff's office to pick up the child from Houck, but said he did not speak to him.

"It's just hard to look at him, knowing he's the main suspect," Ballard said.

Ballard said a judge permitted them to see their grandson every other Saturday, but no one else -- even the boy's siblings - are allowed around him.
Houck has been named a suspect in Crystal's disappearance, but has not been charged with anything.
