FRANKFORT, KY (WAVE) - The Kentucky House of Representatives has passed by a bill that would let people convicted of lesser felonies clear their records.
The bill, which passed by a wide margin, does not apply to people convicted of sex crimes, child pornography, human trafficking or abuse of public corruption.

Similar bills have died in the past in the Republican-controlled Senate. But with Governor Matt Bevin and other conservatives showing support the bill looks to have a better chance at becoming law.
