Man shot at fast food restaurant in Elizabethtown

ELIZABETHTOWN, KY (WAVE) – Elizabethtown police are investigating after a man was shot at a fast food restaurant.
The shooting was reported at the KFC Taco Bell, located at 105 Buffalo Creek Drive, around 6:30 p.m. Thursday, according to Elizabethtown Police Department spokesman Virgil Willoughby.

Willoughby said the victim was taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital for treatment, but the condition of the victim has not been released.
A suspect believed to be involved in the shooting led police on a chase on Interstate 65 North and was apprehended shortly after the shooting.
