President and CEO of Supplies Over Seas Melissa Mershon said, "These beds came from hospitals in the Kentuckiana region. Think of a hospital who's doing a facility upgrade, what do you do with the old beds? Thank goodness that they partner with Supplies Over Seas and that they're good environmental stewards and that they care about humanitarian aid."
The beds were donated from 10 different area hospitals including three in Louisville.
