Strong-armed robbery reported on Big Four Bridge

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A strong-armed robbery was reported on the Big Four Bridge on Sunday evening.

A call came into MetroSafe at 7:07 p.m. of a robbery on the pedestrian bridge.

However police were unable to locate the victim and no one has filed a report, according to Louisville Metro Police Department spokesperson Alicia Smiley.

A large number of teens were reported in the area Sunday night, but there were no arrests made. Surveillance cameras, however, did catch one youth punch another one.

The same amount of officers as usual were patrolling the Big Four Bridge on Sunday night, but they were in different locations than normal, according to Smiley.
