LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Louisville woman is facing a wanton endangerment charge after she fired a gun into the air.
Shalita S. Adams, 36, was arrested at 12:25 a.m. March 3.
The shot was fired after Adams saw a group of unknown people on the sidewalk outside the gate of her fenced-in yard in the Shelby Park neighborhood. Adams told police she fired the shot into the air to keep the group from coming into the yard.
Adams was booked into Louisville Metro Corrections, but was released from custody around 9:30 a.m.
