LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A party was held in NuLu on Monday to spread the word and try to get people involved with a Louisville charity.
The Academy of Music Production Education and Development (AMPED), a non-profit organization that lets kids experiment with music, hosted the event at the Green Building.
Several AMPED students performed and well-known local musician Ben Sollee joined in on the fun.
Event organizers said they were hoping to attract new donors and volunteers.
The program is headquartered at the AMPED Community Center near Flaget Field Park on Greenwood Avenue in west Louisville.
All children are welcome to attend their after school classes and other enrichment activities.
