LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Accepting delivery of a package has landed a woman in jail because authorities said the package contained meth.
Mia M. Ecklar, 44, of Cynthiana, KY, was arrested by Louisville Metro police on March 29.
The arrest came after Louisville Metro narcotics detectives began an investigation following the discovery of the package by the airport unit. Ecklar was arrested after she accepted delivery of the UPS box at a home in the 5900 block of Crockett Drive just after 11 a.m.
The box contained more than two grams of meth. Detectives said Ecklar also told them she had an unknown amount of pills in her van.
