Woman found in alley identified; cause of death released
LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A woman whose body was found in an alley died of multiple gunshot wounds to the head and neck.
The Jefferson County Coroner Office has identified her as Angela Martin, 33, of Louisville. Martin's body was discovered around 9:30 a.m. April 7 behind a building at the corner of River Park Drive and 31st Street.
The coroner's office has not been able to locate family members of Martin, whose last known address was in the 2600 block of W. Muhammad Ali Blvd. Anyone who knows Martin is asked to call the Jefferson County Coroner's Office at (502) 574-6262.

In a separate police report, LMPD homicide detectives executed a search warrant at a home in the same block on W. Muhammad Ali Blvd. where Martin lived as part of a homicide investigation. Inside the home, detectives located several firearms and ammunition.
Police arrested Eric Todd Green, 47, for being a convicted felon in possession of a handgun. A LMPD spokeswoman said Green is not considered a suspect in Martin's murder at this time.
