LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - One of two men wanted for running into a person's home with guns has been arrested.
Around 11:40 p.m. April 9, officers were called to a home in the 3700 block of Kahlert Avenue on a trouble run. The woman living there told police two men armed with guns had run into her home. After getting a description of the men the woman who called police pointed out to the officer that saw David E. Harris, 36, and the other man were walking in a neighbor's yard.
The woman told police she had come home and closed the storm door. A short time later, Harris and the other man came into her house with Harris pointing his gun at her demanding to know "where is the girl at?" She said Harris also demanded $10.
The woman told police she forced the men out of the house and they got into a red Chevy and fled, but returned after she called police. The officer saw Harris toss something black on the ground. Police say it was a handgun.
Harris is charged with burglary, robbery, tampering with physical evidence, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and public intoxication. He was being held at Louisville Metro Corrections on a $50,000 cash bond.
