Man charged in armed robbery at JCPS high school

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The suspect in a robbery that happened a one Jefferson County high school was arrested at another JCPS campus across town.

Deondre K. Wilson, 18, was taken into custody April 29 at Ballard High School.

Louisville Metro police say Wilson was identified in connection with the April 24 armed robbery of two people at Doss High School on St. Andrews Church Road.

Wilson's arrest report says a pistol was used during the robbery and shoes, a cell phone, wallet and cash were taken.

Wilson is being held at Louisville Metro Corrections on a $25,000 cash bond.
