LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will be at Louisville Slugger Field tonight.
The Democratic frontrunner will speak at a public event that is scheduled to start at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday at the Hall of Fame Pavilion at Slugger Field. Doors will open for the event at 4:15 p.m. Clinton's visit is ahead of the May 17 Democratic primary.
Members of the public interested in attending this event should RSVP here: www.hillaryclinton.com/events/view/2698960.
According to a press release issued by the Clinton campaign, she'll discuss why she is the best candidate to raise incomes for families, and break down the barriers that hold too many Kentucky families back.
Clinton opened a campaign office in Louisville last month.
She lost the Indiana primary last week, just hours after her husband, former President Bill Clinton, addressed her supporters in Louisville.
Despite the setback, she remains comfortably ahead of rival Bernie Sanders in the race for the Democratic nomination.
