Rowan St. murder victim identified

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The name of the woman found shot to death in Louisville's Portland neighborhood has been released.
Jefferson County Deputy Coroner David Wood says Amber L. Stepp, 28, died from a gunshot wound.

Stepp's body was found just after Noon May 9 inside a car stopped in the middle of the street in the 2500 block of Rowan St.
Louisville Metro police are continuing to investigate Stepp's murder. Anyone with information is asked to call the LMPD Crime Tip Line at 574-LMPD (574-5673).
