Hit-and-run driver sought by police after 4-vehicle crash in Bullitt County
LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The driver who caused an injury accident involving three other vehicles - a dump truck, a pickup truck and a minivan - left the scene of the crash on foot.
The crash, which shut down Preston Highway (KY 61) in Bullitt County between the 16 and 18 mile markers near Interstate 65, was reported at 9 a.m.Tuesday morning. The roadway has since reopened.
Captain Mike Murdoch with the Bullitt County Sheriff's Office said a white car that was driving recklessly on northbound Preston Highway crossed the center line and hit the dump truck, causing a chain-reaction wreck.
