LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The Phantom of the Opera is back in Louisville.

The first of several shows was held Thursday evening at the Kentucky Center.

The show, which celebrated a sold out tour in the United Kingdom, brought a new, exciting set and staging to its stop to Louisville.

Chris Mann said, "This production is absolutely incredible. I grew up watching the original and to now be a part of the new spectacular production, it's really an honor to do that."

Mann, the man behind the phantom mask, was a contestant on season two of NBC's The Voice.

The Phantom of the Opera will be in Louisville until Sunday, June 12.
