Fleeing bank robbery suspect arrested

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A man suspected on committing two bank robberies has been arrested by Louisville Metro police while fleeing from the scene of one of the crimes.

Nathaniel Demonde Bush, 42, of Louisville, is being held at Louisville Metro Corrections on a $20,000 cash bond.

Bush is charged with committing the May 31 robbery of the Stock Yards Bank at 4640 Southern Parkway and the June 7 holdup of the PNC Bank at 5021 S 3rd Street. In each case police say Bush gave the teller a note demanding cash and fled after getting the money.

Bush was arrested in the 4900 block of S. 2nd Street by responding officers shortly after fleeing from the PNC robbery.
