Teen shot in California neighborhood
LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Louisville Metro police are investigating after a teenager was shot in the California neighborhood.
A 14-year-old was shot outside of a home in the 1700 block of Prentice Street around 8:15 p.m. Thursday, according to Louisville Metro Police Department spokeswoman Alicia Smiley.

The shooting victim was taken to University of Louisville Hospital. Smiley said his injuries appeared to be non-life threatening.
No suspect information has been released.
