LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Today is National HIV Testing Day, and the Louisville Metro Department of Health and Wellness is offering those tests for free.
The tests will be offered at the department's headquarters at 400 East Gray Street in downtown Louisville from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Oraquick oral swab method will be used; test results will be ready in 20 minutes.
Anyone being tested should not eat, drink or chew gum for at least 20 minutes before the test.
