Louisville bar puts on benefit show Thursday following Orlando massacre

Play hosts fundraiser for Pulse shooting survivors

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Play Louisville has planned a benefit show to raise money for victims and employees of Pulse, the nightclub in Orlando where a mass shooter killed dozens of revelers before police killed him.

Play has flown in several of Pulse's regular performers, including Angelica Sanchez, A'zsia Dupree, Axel Andrews and Neema Bahrami.

Rep. John Yarmuth and Mayor Greg Fischer headline a long list of local and state luminaries who are also expected to attend.

Doors open at Play at 7 p.m. Thursday, with the benefit program scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.
