HAPPENING TONIGHT: Rock Against Racism benefits Louisville Urban League

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - You can help fight racism in WAVE Country tonight by rocking out to the sounds of several bands performing live at Haymarket Whiskey Bar. The Rock Against Racism Louisville concert begins at 7 p.m.

Rock Against Racism is a world-wide movement that began in the United Kingdom in the 1970s and has continued for the past 40 years. Louisville residents David Stuebe and Lance Newman recently decided to expand the concept here.

"Lance and I came up with a benefit idea for The Louisville Urban League as a proactive, loving response to what we both agree is a worsening racial environment in our community." Stuebe said.
