LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Louisville man has been arrested by Kentucky State Police in child pornography charges.
Alvin E. Sanders III, 27, was taken into custody at his home July 19.
State police say the arrest was the result of an Internet Crimes Against Children online undercover investigation and that Sanders distributed at least one file that contained child sexual exploitation.
After a search warrant was served at his home, state police say 20 files containing child porn were found on various electronic devices.
Sanders was booked into Louisville Metro Corrections on one count of distribution of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor and 20 counts of possession of view matter portraying sexual performance by a minor.
Judge David Holton entered a not guilty plea for Sanders during his arraignment and ordered that he be placed into the Home Incarceration Program. Sanders will be back in court July 29 and was ordered to have no contact with minor children or access to a computer.
KSP said additional charges are expected.
