LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Louisville entrepreneur brought her online boutique inside of Oxmoor Center in the form of a pop up shop.

It's a dream that RaeShanda Johnson has worked extremely hard for. Years ago, Johnson was at a low point in her life.

"I was broke. I was fresh out of being homeless," said Johnson. "I was donating plasma to pay the bills and then months later my life just changed."

Johnson has an eye for putting together an outfit that will make someone feel special. She started posting photos online of different looks and selling some of those pieces.

"When you get your skirt, top or dress, you'll know how to put it together and that's what really started All is Fair," Johnson said.

It wasn't long before her online business, All is Fair in Love and Fashion, took off.

"It changed my life," Johnson said, "so from March to December, just from Facebook, I brought in six figures."

Then, Johnson got the opportunity to bring her looks, directly to customers. In addition to browsing online, customers can sort the racks inside Oxmoor Center. All is Fair in Love and Fashion will be set up for a week as part of the mall's pop-up shop concept.

"It's designed for local entrepreneurs and makers to come in a set up shop," Oxmoor Center General Manager Kendall Merrick said.

The store is near Yang Kee Noodle and is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

So, even though Johnson's life may not have always been fair - All is Fair in Love and Fashion. Her mission is to empower women with her story and perhaps a great outfit.

"You find a way in your darkest places a way to help others," Johnson said, "that shines light on your day."
