LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Three juvenile girls were shot in a vehicle downtown early Sunday morning.
About 2:40 a.m. Sunday, Louisville Metro Police Department First Division officers were dispatched after receiving a call from someone saying they were driving a shooting victim to the hospital. Upon their arrival at Norton Hospital, three female juvenile shooting victims were all taken to Kosair Children's Hospital.
According to the LMPD, two groups of individuals were involved in an altercation at a club. The victims left the club and were followed by the suspects who fired at the victims' vehicle near 16th and Jefferson streets.
Police say the injuries are non-life threatening.
There have been no arrests.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating. Suspect information has not been released.
