Semi overturns on I-65, spilling 31,000 lbs. of creamer

BULLITT COUNTY, KY (WAVE) - A semi lost its load of 31,000 lbs. of dairy creamer early Wednesday morning after overturning on Interstate 65 South in Bullitt County.

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC), the incident happened just north of Exit 112 and about one mile south of the Bullitt County rest area.

Crews also dealt with a fuel spill at the scene.

The left and middle lanes of southbound I-65 were closed for a time.

No injuries were reported.
