ID released of man killed in motorcycle crash

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The name of a motorcyclist who was killed on Friday has been released.
Anthony Weaver, 28, was pronounced dead at the scene after losing control of his motorcycle at a sharp turn on Blanton Lane and Mills Drive, according to a press release.

Weaver died from multiple blunt force injuries sustained in the accident, according to the autopsy.

The press release says Weaver was not wearing a helmet when he crashed, but the helmet was attached to the back of the motorcycle.
Speed is a suspected factor in the accident.
