GRAYSON COUNTY, KY (WAVE) - A man whose body was found in a truck toolbox three weeks ago was identified Tuesday.

Tromain Jerome Mackall, 29, died from multi-modal asphyxia, according to a news release from the Grayson County Coroner's Office.

Mackall's body was found in a large toolbox in a truck that was floating in Spring Fork Creek. The discovery was made on Aug. 2, nine days after Mackall was reported missing. He was last seen at a home near the Ohio/Daviess county line, according to TheBayNet.com, a news outlet serving southern Maryland. Mackall was from Prince Fredrick, Maryland, though he had moved to Owensboro, Ky., this year, according to that report.

No arrests have been made in the case, which has been ruled a homicide.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help his family. Interested donors can click here.
