UPDATE: 2nd victim of deadly Hancock St. shooting identified

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The second person who died after a Thursday shooting in the Shelby Park neighborhood has been identified.

Larry Brewer III, 22, died at 1:26 p.m. Friday at University Hospital, according to the Jefferson County Coroner's Office.

Brewer was one of two people shot around 3:40 p.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of S. Hancock. He was found with a gunshot wound and transported to University Hospital.

The other person killed was identified by the coroner's office as Cameron V. Pugh, 18. His relatives said they believe the shooting was over a cell phone deal.

Louisville Metro police have not made arrests in the case. Anyone with information is asked to call the LMPD Crime Tip Line at 574-LMPD (5673).
