Family's car recovered; specialized wheelchair still missing

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The car stolen from a Louisville family last week was recovered over the weekend, but the expensive cargo inside the trunk was gone.

Starr and Brent Richardson were devastated when they noticed their car was missing, mostly because their son's specialized wheelchair was in the truck.

Carson Richardson, who is 18 months old, suffers from cerebral palsy and uses the $4,000 wheelchair when the family goes out in public.
