Kentucky woman arrested for encouraging terror attacks against U.S.

MAYSVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Kentucky woman is in federal custody after advocating online for terror attacks in the United States.

Marie Antoinette Castelli, 55, was arrested Friday in Maysville, Ky.

According to the FBI, Castelli advocated for terror attacks as well as promoted ISIS propaganda through her social media accounts.

Castelli was booked into the Boone County Jail, but has been released into the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service.
