LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Police allege that a man's case of road rage got so out of hand he opened fire on a pickup truck with two small children inside.
Timothy W. Corbin, 44, is charged with three counts of wanton endangerment and one count of possession of a handgun by a felon, according to his arrest report.
He was taken into custody at work Tuesday afternoon, after the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet traced a license plate to a vehicle his girlfriend owned, the report stated.

The incident is alleged to have occurred in the Southbound lanes of the Gene Snyder Freeway (I-265) near the Stonestreet Road exit T about 9 p.m. on September 9.
Corbin rolled down the driver side window, placed a handgun outside the window and fired a shot into the victim's vehicle, the post-arrest complaint reads. The driver's children were riding in the bench seat. No one was injured, according to the report.
Corbin reportedly urged his girlfriend to provide him with an alibi when officers confronted him on Tuesday, investigators said.

"The detective discovered text messages between her and (Corbin), (that) talked about his girlfriend's gun, asking his girlfriend to tell officers that he was with her during the incident and that officers were at his door," the report reads.
Corbin's Facebook page indicates he's the foreman for the Brakeway Body Shop on Preston Highway. That's where he was arrested on Tuesday. The Facebook page also lists his credo as "Lead, follow, or get the Hell out of my Way."
