LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - If you live in Jefferson County, the place where you have cast your vote for years might not be the place you need to go to on November 8.

The Jefferson County Clerk's Office says there have been changes to the polling locations for seven precincts.

Precincts F158, F176, and V117 will move from Eastern High School, 12400 Old Shelbyville Road to Middletown United Methodist Church, 11902 Old Shelbyville Road.

Nore Ghibaudy, a spokesman for the Jefferson County Clerk's Office, said the reason for the change was that Middletown United Methodist was found to be more convenient for the precincts based on parking and voting room size.

Four other precincts - G116, G117, V118, and V119 - will be in new locations because the sites where they were once housed decided not to renew their leases.

G116 and G117 were previously housed at Bellarmine University's  Knights Hall at 2000 Norris Place. Voters in G116 will now vote at Highland Middle School, 1700 Norris Place, while G117 voters will cast their ballots at Deer Park Baptist Church, 1733 Bardstown Road.
