St. James Court Art Show takes over Old Louisville this weekend

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Hundreds of artisans from all over the country are gathering in Old Louisville this weekend for the 60th Annual St. James Court Art Show.

Booths filled with artwork, crafts, food and drinks will line the streets south and east of Central Park.

"This is a very special year in that, for six decades now, Old Louisville has welcomed thousands from all over our country to a truly great event," Councilman David James (District 6) said. "The St. James Court Art Show showcases a very special area of District 6 and has brought millions of dollars in economic development and tourism as well. This year, we hope to continue the tradition."

Louisville's 'The Voice' contestant returns to work after show's blind auditions

The St. James Court Art Show opens Friday and runs through Sunday.

The Garvin Gate Blues Festival is hosting a Blues Stage. Musicians will perform daily from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, then 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.
