2 shot in Park DuValle neighborhood

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Louisville Metro police are investigating after two people were shot in the Park DuValle neighborhood.

The shootings were both reported around 8:30 p.m. Monday, according to MetroSafe. One happened in the 1400 block of Hemlock Street. The other happened in the 1400 block of Beech Street.

MetroSafe said the Hemlock Street victim was a man in his 60s. He was taken to University of Louisville with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.

The Beech Street victim appeared to be in his 20s, according to MetroSafe. He was also taken to UofL Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No suspect information has been released in either shooting.

The LMPD Homicide Unit is investigating the shootings. Anyone with information is asked to call the anonymous police tip line at (502) 574-LMPD.
