LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - One of the country's best known civil rights activists was in Louisville today taking part in a forum aimed at helping you take back your streets.
The Rev. Jesse Jackson stopped by St. Stephen Church for the West Louisville Forum, which tries to find solutions for problems that plague America's inner cities.
Jackson encouraged the audience to be active and engaged in the political process.
"We're urging people as we travel around the country now to register to vote and to vote with passion," he said.
The West Louisville forum is held on the first Wednesday of every month and will run at least through the end of this year.
