LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Thousands of light-filled pumpkins have taken over Iroquois Park for the Louisville Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular, which opens Thursday night.

Approximately 5,000 carved pumpkins line the 1/4-mile walking trail at the park, offering seasonal entertainment for the entire family. They are presented in themed sections accompanied by music. This year's theme is "America the Beautiful," with pumpkins celebrating all 50 states.
