Indiana voter fraud investigation grows to 56 counties

NEW ALBANY, IN (WAVE) – Indiana State Police are in the midst of a statewide investigation into possible voter registration fraud.
 
Last week, ISP said the investigation that started in August has now grown to 56 counties, including Floyd and Clark.

Police believe there could be hundreds of fraudulent voter registration records with different combinations of made up names and addresses with people's real information.

ISP recommends that anyone with questions or concerns contact their local voter registration office or the Indiana Secretary of State.

If anyone suspects they are a victim of voter fraud, they can call the ISP tip line at 866-461-8683. Click here to verify your voter registration.

Early voting in Floyd County begins Wednesday, October 12 at the County Clerk's office. It's open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each weekday.

In Floyd County, there will be nine different sites available on Saturday, October 29 that voters can chose from, during 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There will be six different locations during the week of October 31 to November 4, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
