LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Nearly six years after fire damaged her house in the Russell neighborhood, Betty Vannerson finally got some help fixing it.

About two dozen employees of Charter Communications were out to make repairs Saturday. It was part of a cross-country push in major cities that Charter serves with cable television.

"I feel blessed today," Vannerson said. "I've always been blessed, but I feel blessed today that all these people came out to help me."
