A MetroSafe supervisor said the incident was reported about 7:55 a.m. at Bardstown and Taylorsville roads in the Highlands.

Crews put up barricades and stop signs in the area because of malfunctioning stoplights.

No injuries were reported in the accident.

At 11:30 a.m., the number of customers without power was down to about 400. An LG&E spokeswoman said power should be restored to everyone by around 2:30 p.m. CIick here to monitor power outages on LG&E's outage map.
