Fire starts in Louisville condominium complex

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Fire crews worked to put out flames inside of a Louisville condominium complex Thursday night.

The fire was reported at The Brown Condominiums, located at 3320 Bardstown Road, around 9 p.m., according to MetroSafe.

When fire crews arrived they found flames coming from the third floor.

Residents were evacuated but no injuries were reported.

On Friday, fire officials confirmed a stove that was accidentally turned on started the fire.

Fire officials said the fire damage was isolated to one unit, but surrounding units may have some water damage.
