LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The man wanted in connection with an assault and robbery that left the victim wounded is now in custody.

Sinclaireon Jawaun Malone, 18, was arrested October 27 for robbery and assault.

On September 6, the report says Malone approached his victim and pointed a loaded pistol at him. Malone then reached into the man's pockets and took cash, a money card and his identification.

Police said Malone also fired two shots at the victim, striking him in the leg.

In addition to the assault and robbery charges online records show Malone is facing additional charges for trafficking in controlled substances and carrying a concealed deadly weapon.

Malone remains at Louisville Metro Corrections on a $50,000 cash bond.
