LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Brook Street was closed at West Lee Street for a time Tuesday morning after a vehicle crashed into a utility pole. The driver drove away from the scene.
A MetroSafe dispatcher said there were low-hanging wires in the area.
A Metro police officer at the scene said it appeared a work truck hit the pole and then left the scene.
An LG&E crew was on site because of hot wires. The northbound lanes of Brook Street remained closed until workers completed the necessary repairs.
