Man killed with lottery tickets identified

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The man who was killed with winning lottery tickets in his possession in the Park Hill neighborhood Friday has been identified.

Leroy "Chilli Woo" Williams, 37, died of multiple gunshot wounds at 3:01 p.m. Friday, according to Jefferson County Coroner Rita Taylor.

At 2:51 p.m. Friday MetroSafe received a report saying someone had been shot in the alley at Dixie Highway and St. Louis Avenue.

According to a store clerk, Williams had walked inside and told everyone he had won $1,200 on two tickets.

Williams was friends with some of the members of the popular band Linkin' Bridge.
