So. Indiana officers make $6,000 donation to Norton Children's Hospital

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) -  Southern Indiana police officers in three different Fraternal Order of Police groups have raised $6,000 to donate to Norton Children's Hospital.

Officers with the Jeffersonville, Clarksville, and Clark County FOP donated the money to Norton Children's Hospital through the Children's Hospital Foundation. The officers made the donation and handed out gifts to children on Tuesday.

The FOP groups are participating in No Shave November, an effort to increase awareness about cancer, along with raising funds to support cancer prevention, research and education.

This is the second year for the donation.
