Juveniles arrested for fleeing police in stolen van

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Two juveniles are in custody after fleeing police during an attempted traffic stop in the Iroquois neighborhood.
Officers tried to stop a stolen Ford Escape in the area of New Cut Road and Orchard Hill Road just after 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

The suspects took off in the van and eventually stopped when they hit a stop sign near Kenwood Drive, according to LMPD. They got out of the van and ran on foot.
Two male juveniles were taken into custody a short time later. Their names and ages are not being released.
