Shooting victim calls 911 from Frankfort gas station

FRANKFORT, KY (WAVE) - A woman called 911 from a Frankfort gas station Tuesday night and reported that she'd been shot multiple times.

According to WLEX-TV in Lexington, police responding to the scene at a Circle K off Schenkel Lane found the woman inside an SUV with several gunshot wounds. She was airlifted to University of Kentucky Medical Center. Her condition is unknown.

Police don't know where the woman was shot, and they have no suspects in the case.

The Frankfort Police Department will release additional information during a 9:30 a.m. news conference.
