Woman shot in the neck in Okolona

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Police are responding after a woman was shot in Okolona Tuesday afternoon.

Metrosafe confirms the call came in shortly before 3:00 p.m. of a shooting in the area of Falcon Crest Drive and Woodpointe Boulevard.

Once on scene, crews found a woman with a gunshot wound to the neck.

That woman was transported to University Hospital. She is undergoing treatment and her condition is unknown.
